JAM (Just A Minute)
Rules
- The JAM master decides the preliminary rounds.
- 8-9 participants are picked per panel.
- In each panel, a topic is given and panelists have to speak on the same.
- Panelists can bang on the table/or ring the bell if an error is committed while speaking by
other panelists, list out the error and speak if the JAM master agrees with the person then
+5 for correct correction, -5 for wrong correction, +10 for every 5 seconds the participant
speaks. Participants lose points on late start, early start, speech defect, grammatical error.
- Additional points for getting the buzzer at the end of the minute.
- No participant is eliminated during the course of JAM.
- Judged on clarity, content, presentation, relevance to the topic & language.
- First 2 winners of the prelims to be selected for the finals on 15 and 16 March 2024
